Ada County Clubs win Top National Marketing Award

The number one priority of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County is to serve our youth; there are many ways of doing this - one of which is behind the scenes through marketing and fundraising. While these jobs are not always face-to-face with the children they are vital to the achieving our mission.

Each year The Boys & Girls Club of America allows clubs to compete nationally in several categories from special events to online media. By recognizing exceptional work through their annual Marketing & Communications Awards, our movement hopes to encourage and support Clubs across the nation to better spread our message and garner support for our work. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County has competed for several years and has won an undpressidented number of awards for their marketing and communication efforts. This year was no exception, the Boys & Girls Club of Ada County has earned the Gold award for Comprehensive Marketing Strategy. With over 4,400 Clubs eligible to compete, the award is a great accomplishment and demonstrates our dedication to our kids and the community that supports them. Along with the Comprehensive Award the Ada County Clubs won three silver awards for special events, publications and advertising.

A small group of staff from the club will be traveling to New York City for the annual national conference to receive their awards.
